Why wool blends? Acrylic and polyamide are added to wool to improve the strength of the fabric while having little impact on its insulation. It's strong, keeps its shape and provides moisture wicking properties which are compatible with wool. Polymide has flexibility and elasticity which allows the garment to move and stretch without losing its shape, water resistant and durable.
