These Rope Incense Stand are direct from Nepal where they are handmade by cottage industries that support the development of small enterprises for women and the under privileged. These innovative burners were designed by the artisans who benefit from their sale, to help them elevate their lifestyle and status, and provide education for their families.
This burner is designed specifically for rope incense. This burner features a large, heavy unfinished ceramic base plate with a clever loop that holds a brass wire stand in place. Rope incense sticks are hung from the top hook, allowing them to be surrounded by complete airflow while they burn. The ash falls into the plate below for easy collection.
